UNI 16 Mo 3 KG Heat Treatments


  • Material with a maximum diameter or thickness of 250mm shall be either normalized and tempered (N+T) or quench hardened and tempered (Q+T) as follows: Normalize at 880 - 940°C and air cool, then temper at 600 - 650°C and air or furnace cool. Harden by oil or water quenching from 880 - 940°C, then temper at 600 - 650°C and air or furnace cool.
