AFNOR NF D 1p Heat Treatments
- Forged:
At 1200-1250°C (holding 15 min at temperature) and cooled in still air. (For products with a cross section greater than or equal to 1590 mm² (d ≥ 45 mm) the sample is a 25 mm round).
Normalized:
At 1150-1200°C (holding 15 min at temperature) and air cooled. (For products with a section of less than 1590 mm² delivered with a softening heat treatment for shearing).
