AFNOR NF Z 3 CNDU 26.05 M Heat Treatments

  • Hyperquenched (Hy): at 1120°C minimum, after dissolving at high temperature, it is important to allow the parts to homogenize between 1010 and 1060°C before cooling. Possibility of age hardening by treatment between 480°C and 510°C after quenching, making it possible to achieve a hardness of 280 to 320 HBS, but to the detriment of the corrosion resistance, which is optimal after hardening.
