AFNOR NF 38 CB 1 Heat Treatments
- Heated in the range at 835-865°C, cooled in oil or water for d ≤ 40mm and in water for d > 40mm and:
Tempered I at 500-600°C
Tempered II at 450-550°C
Jominy test at 850 ± 5°C - Oil or water quenched: 835 - 865°C; Tempered: 450 - 550°C
