  • Heated in the range at 835-865°C, cooled in oil and tempered at 500-600°C
    Jominy test at 850 ± 5°C
  • Cementation process at 875 to 925°C
    Hardening (core) at 850 to 880°C, oil quenching
    Hardening (surface) at 810 to 840°C, oil quenching
    Tempering at 150 to 200°C.
    Tempering for Jominy test at 880 ± 5°C
