AFNOR NF 15 MDV 4.05 Heat Treatments
- Austenitized: 875-925°C Tempered: <= 600°C
- Normalized: 875 - 925°C, air or water cooled. Tempered: 600 - 675°C.
Stress relief at 600 - 640°C. Duration 2 min/mm up to 60 mm thick + 0.5 min/mm after that.
Cooling at a rate of 55°C/h to 300°C, then air cooling.
