Heat Treatments

  • Quenching: 920-970°C, oil, water, or water based solutions; Tempering: 550-720°C.
  • Soft annealing: 680-720°C; Hardening: 870-970°C (0,5 h minimum), oil or water cooling; Tempering: 580-700°C (1 h minimum); Nitriding: 480-570°C.
