- Annealing: Heated at 800-850°C, furnace cooled.
Hardening or quenching: Heated at 1000-1050°C, oil quenched.
Tempering: Heated at 100-300°C. - Soft annealed at 800-850°C, hardened at 1075-1100°C, quenched in oil, tempered at 150-200°C
