DIN GX2CrNiMoN26-7-4 Heat Treatments
- Solution annealing (+AT) at 1120 to 1150°C and quenching in water. After solution annealing at high temperature, castings may be cooled to a temperature between 1040°C and 1010°C prior to water quenching to prevent cracks and to improve corrosion resistance.
- +AT: Solution annealing 1120 - 1150°C, cooling in water. After a high temperature solution annealing, the castings may be cooled from 1040°C to 1010°C before being quenched in water to prevent cracks and to improve corrosion resistance. After quenching, precipitation hardening at 480 - 510°C is possible (with slightly increased toughness, impact and corrosion resistance).
