VdTÜV 15 NiCuMoNb 5 S 1 Heat Treatments
- (1) Hardened for product t <= 200mm: 900-980°C, cooling in air. Tempered: 640-670°C, holding period at least 30 min. and cooling in air. OR (2) Hardened: 880-930°C, cooling in water or oil. Tempered: 640-690°C, holding period at least 15 min. and cooling in air; Stress reliving: 580-620°C, holding period at least 30 min. and cooling in air.
