DIN 1.7779 Heat Treatments
- Heat treatment (V): Hot forming at 1100 - 850°C. In the process, the temperature may drop to 750°C. Hardening at 980 - 1030°C. Tempering at 680 - 730°C.
- Quenched and tempered (+QT): 980-1030°C, air or liquid cooling. Tempering: 680-730°C, air cooling.
