DIN 1.7273 Heat Treatments
- Hardened: 900 to 970°C, after reaching the temperature in the entire cross section of cooling in oil or in air; Tempering: 640 to 710°C, holding period at least 60 minutes, cooling in air; Stress relieving: heating near to tempering temperature and furnace cooling to 300°C, cool down in the air.
- Soft annealed at 680-730°C
Hardened at 890-940°C, cooled in air or quenched in oil
Tempered at 650-700°C
