DIN 1.6515 Heat Treatments


  • Quenched at ≤ 930°C
    Tempered at 600-650°C
    Stress relief annealed at ≥ 570°C. This temperature must be at least 30°C below the tempering temperature and must not be below the specified minimum value
  • Air Quenched and Tempered Hardening: 880-930°C; Tempering: 600-650°C Liquid Quenched and Tempered (I) Hardening: 880-930°C; Tempering: 600-650°C Liquid Quenched and Tempered (II) Hardening: 880-930°C; Tempering: 550-600°C
