- Annealed: soft annealing (650-700°C). Heat treated to improve machinability or spheroidized: (900-1000°C) controlled cooling. Solution heat-treated and quenched: carburization (900-950°C) hardening (840-870°C)/oil or warm bath tempering (170-210°C).
