DIN 1.4439 Heat Treatments
- Solution annealed (+AT): 1100-1140°C (for guidance only), cooling sufficiently rapid in water or air.
- Quenching: Heated at 1080-1130°C, water quenched or air cooled. Structure after heat treatment is austenite. It is possible to contain some amount of ferrite.
