DIN 1.4420 Heat Treatments
- Quenching: Heated at 1000-1050°C, water quenched or air cooled. Structure after heat treatment is austenite. It is possible to contain some amount of ferrite.
- Hot forming: 1150 - 850°C, air cooling. Annealing: 1030 - 1100°C, air, water cooling.
