DIN 1.4110 Heat Treatments
- Annealing: Heated at 750-850°C, furnace cooled
Hardening or quenching: Heated at 1000-1050°C, oil quenched
Tempering: Heated at 100-300°C - Hot forming: 1100-800°C, slow cooling.
A - Annealing: 750-830°C;
QT - Quenching: 1000-1100°C, air or oil cooling; Tempering: 200-350°C
