GB 40CrA Heat Treatments
- Normalized or tempered at 850-890°C, air cooled at 650-680°C; Quenched and tempered; Heated at 840-860°C (oil quenched) and tempered at 510-530°C (oil or water cooled);
- Quenching at 850°C +/- 20°C / oil cooling; tempering at 500°C +/- 50°C / water or oil cooling.
