GB 38CrA Heat Treatments
- Normalized or tempered at 850-890°C, air cooled at 650-680°C; Quenched and tempered (1); Heated at 820-840°C (warm water quenched) and tempered at 500-590°C (oil or water cooled); Quenched and tempered (2); Heated at 840~860°C (quenched in oil) and tempered at 500-590°C (oil or water cooled); Heat treatment 1: Heat treated at 860°C, oil cooled. Heat treated at 520°C, cooled.
- Quenching at 860°C / oil cooling; tempering at 500-560°C / water or oil cooling.
