- Double quenching: at 880°C, cooling in oil and at 870°C, cooling in oil; Tempering at 200°C, cooling in water or air.
- Normalization at 880°C; oil quenched; re-heated at 870°C; Austempered in the range 280-320°C; Tempered at 200°C; water quenched or cooling in air.
