GB 20Cr Heat Treatments
- Double quenching: at 880°C, cooling in water or oil and at 780-820°C, cooling in water or oil; Tempering at 200°C, cooling in water or air.
- Heated at 880°C; water or oil quenched; re-heated at 800°C; Austempered in the range 280-320°C; Tempered at 200°C; water quenched or cooling in air.
