CSN 42 2893 Heat Treatments

  • Soft annealing at 1050 to 1100°C, slow cooling in the furnace below 400°C;
    Hardening at 1220 to 1240°C, intensive cooling of 5-10°C/s to 600°C;
    Isotherm magnetic processing at 800 to 840°C, processing magnetic field min. 250 kA m-1;
    Tempering: at 620°C, 2-3 h, at 580°C, 8h and 560°C, 12h.
