CSN 42 2881 Heat Treatments
- Hardening: Heating from 1180 to 1220°C (Heating to 800°C must be due to the poor thermal conductivity of the material is very slow. On reaching this temperature, the recommended delay for temperature equalization). Cooling by water of 100°C or air cooling rate of 10°C/s; Tempering at 560 to 600°C, hold 2h, then air.
