CSN 42 2750 Heat Treatments

  • Normalized (.5) at 860 to 900°C, cool in air. Hardened at 830 to 870°C, cool in oil. Tempering at 550 to 650°C, cool in furnace, air; Annealing (.6) to lower tension at 520 to 620°C, the temperature for stress relief annealing should be about 20-30°C lower than the actual temperature tempering., cool in furnace and air.
