CSN 42 2743 Heat Treatments

State 42 2743.5 - Normalizing at 930 to 970°C and tempering at 680 to 740°C, cooling in the air;
State 42 2743.6 - Quenching at 920 to 950°C in oil or water and tempering at 720 to 750°C oven to 680°C, then cooling in air;
State 42 2743.9 - Homogenization annealing at 950 to 1000°C, cooling in air. Normalizing at 920 to 950°C, cooling in air. Tempering at 680 to 740°C, cooling in the air. Annealing to lower tension at 650 to 720°C (the temperature for stress relief annealing should be about 20-30°C lower than the actual temperature tempering) and cooling in furnace, air.
