CSN 42 2740 Heat Treatments

Annealing softly at 750 to 800°C, cooling in furnace.
Normalization annealing at 1020 to 1050°C, cooling in air below 200°C.
Hardening at 1000 to 1030°C, cooling in oil below 200°C.
Tempering at 720 to 750°C, cooling in air.
Annealing to reduce strain at 700 to 730°C (the stress annealing temperature should be 20 to 30°C lower than the actual tempering temperature), cooling in air of furnace.
