CSN 42 2739 Heat Treatments

  • Normalizing at 820 to 850°C, cooling freely in air; Hardening at 830 to 850°C, cooling in oil; Tempering at 620 to 650°C, cooling in furnace, air; Annealing to lower tension at 600 to 630°C cooling in furnace. Temperature annealing for stress relief should be about 20-30°C lower than the actual temperature tempering;
