CSN 42 2715 Heat Treatments
- Normalizing at 870 to 920°C, cooling in air; Hardening at 860 to 880°C, cooling in oil; Tempering at 620 to 660°C, cooling in furnace; Annealing to lower tension at 590 to 630°C cooling in furnace. Temperature annealing for stress relief should be about 20-30°C lower than the actual temperature tempering;
