CSN 42 2711 Heat Treatments

  • Normalizing at 790 to 820°C, cooling in air; Tempering at 580 to 650°C, cooling in furnace, air; Annealing to lower tension at 550 to 620°C cooling in furnace. Temperature annealing for stress relief to be about 20°C to 30°C lower than the actual temperature tempering.
