CSN 17 241 Heat Treatments
- Forging at 1000 to 900°C, after forging annealing.
Solution annealing at 1050 to 1100°C, After warming up period of 15 min. to 30 min. at this temperature, then cooled in water. It must not be annealed at a temperature of 400°C to 900°C, because it reduces corrosion resistance and toughness.
