CSN 17 042 Heat Treatments
- Forging at 1050 to 850°C, cooling in furnace or ash;
Hardening at 980 to 1020°C, cooling in oil;
Tempering at 150 to 200°C, delay temperature 15 to 30 min.;
Annealing at 760 to 790°C, delay temperature for 1 h, cool in the furnace at 0.5°C/min to a temperature of 400°C, then air;
Annealing to lower tension at 650 to 700°C, delay temperature 1-2 h, cooling slowly;
