- Forging at 1150 to 800°C, after molding, the cooling slowly
Normalizing at 850 to 890°C, cooling in air.
Hardening at 810 to 830°C, cooling in water, is very thick pieces or at 830 to 880°C, cooling in oil.
Tempering at 530 to 670°C, cooling in water.
