- Forging at 1150 to 800°C and cool slowly.
Normalizing at 860 to 880°C, cooling in air.
Hardening at 830 to 850°C and cooling in water or at 840 to 870°C and cooling in oil.
Tempering at 530 to 670°C, cooling in water.
Soft annealing at 680 to 720°C and cooling in furnace
