B.S. 316S52 Heat Treatments
- Solution treating: 1000 - 1100°C
- Tubes shall be supplied in one of the following conditions:
(a) the solution treated condition 1000 to 1100°C; or
(b) the hot finished condition for tubes which have been heated and extruded at a temperature within the solution treatment temperature range 1000 to 1100°C and cooled rapidly, unless solution treatment has been specified by the purchaser
The intergranular corrosion test is not applicable for these grades.
