B.S. 245 Heat Treatments
- When ordered in accordance with designation 'LT 50' the final heat treatment shall consists of normalizing and tempering, or quenching and tempering.
When ordered in accordance with designation 'E' the final heat treatment shall consists of normalizing and tempering, and the tempering and any subsequent stress relieving temperature shall be 630-680°C.
