Heat Treatments
- Solution heat treatment: 458-468°C (855-875°F). Aging shall be performed at a specific temperature and time as required to meet desired properties.
- Annealing: Soak for 2 to 3 hours at 404°C (760°F ); cool to 204°C (400°F) or lower, reheat to 232°C (450°F), and soak for 4 hours; cooling rate optional. <br />Solution heat treating temperature (for plate): 458-468°C (855- 875°F) , followed by an air cool and quenched.
