UNI P-AlMn1.2 Heat Treatments
- Full annealing ( R ) for 2 to 4 hours at the temperature range of 450 - 500 °C. From a very hardened material (H60) it is possible to obtain a less hardened material ( H20- H30) through partial annealing at 200 - 220 °C for 4 - 6 hours. Hot working range at 450 - 520 °C
- Full Annealing from 450 to 500°C for 1 to 2h to scheme with subsequent cooling in ambient air (or in the oven). They can follow operations of flattening, straightening and ironing, for reasons of dimensional tolerances, which have a slight strain hardening.
H12, H14, H16 and H18 - work hardened states provided for rolled and drawn, obtained by performing the material, in an intermediate stage of processing, the complete annealing (O) followed by a final cold processing plastic, extrusion lamination, involving different work hardening equal to about 18% (H12), 37% (H14), 55% (H16) and 75% (H18).
H22, H24, H25, H26 - United recovery (crystalline rearrangement) provided for rolled and / or drawn, obtained by performing on the same semi-finished very hard drawn (H16, H18) a partial annealing from 230 to 260°C for 2 to 6h to hold at followed by cooling in ambient air (H16 ->H24, H22, H18 -> H26, H25, H24).
H112 - Raw extrusion of the hot rolling. They can follow operations of flattening, straightening and ironing, for reasons of dimensional tolerances, which have a slight strain hardening.
