DIN 1.6760 Heat Treatments
- Quenching and tempering:
Strength level I: Austenitized at 900-980°C, quenched in fluid, tempered at 560-610°C
Strength level II: Austenitized at 900-980°C, quenched in fluid, tempered at 550-600°C
The temperature for the stress relief heat treatment should be at least 20°C, but at most 50°C below the applied tempering temperature of the casting
